The School’s governing body works with the Headteacher and staff to cover a range of responsibilities, some of which are set out in law. Governors are at the heart of how the school operates, and the governing body's main role is to help raise standards of achievement.
As well as helping the school agree and maintain standards by setting and monitoring targets and planning for the future, the governors also help the school to respond to the needs of parents and the wider community Our governors act as a 'critical friend' to the school, offering support and advice.
The Finance committee meet regularly at the School and look after matters concerning the School’s finances.
