At our school, we believe that learning in nature is a powerful way to inspire curiosity, confidence, and resilience. Our Outdoor Provision is designed to give children hands-on experiences that nurture their holistic development and connect them deeply with the natural world.
The sessions are led by two Level 3 qualified Forest School leaders, Helen and Anita, who bring expertise, enthusiasm, and a passion for outdoor learning.

is a child-centred, inspirational learning process that takes place through regular sessions in a natural setting. It offers opportunities for holistic growth, where children learn through play, exploration, and supported risk-taking.
🪵 Play and Risk-Taking: Children are encouraged to take risks in a controlled and supported environment, helping them grow in confidence and resilience.
🌱 Adult Support: Skilled adults guide children to develop their ideas and build new skills.
🌳 Holistic Development: Sessions nurture social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and intellectual growth.
🌍 Connection to Nature: Inspires a deep and meaningful relationship with the world around us.
💪 Resilience and Self-Belief: Learners become risk-aware rather than risk-averse, building independence and creativity.
Our aim is that these sessions will develop your child holistically and equip them with the skills they need for their learning journey through school and life.
Alongside Forest School, we also offer the Seedlings Programme, run by James. Each year group spends half a term learning about gardening and how to be a holistic learner.
Children gain practical skills in growing plants, caring for the environment, and understanding the cycles of nature. This programme complements our Forest School approach by encouraging responsibility, creativity, and wellbeing through gardening.
