Broadmayne First School has an excellent team of experienced and skilled staff who work harmoniously to provide the best quality education for all pupils, with a focus on supporting the development and wellbeing of all, in a warm, safe environment. We believe children learn best when they have positive relationships with the people around them.
We encourage as much outdoor learning as possible, and believe that this directly contributes to the good progress our children make academically. All of our children look after the environment from Reception onwards, linking this with their work in our generous grounds. Ofsted judged us to be a good school in March 2023 and commented on the caring culture of the school.
We know that we cannot be effective in isolation and we actively seek to connect with our parents and carers, families, and the wider community. The ethos of the school is one of openness, recognising the partnership of parents, pupils, staff and govenors.
