Sports Premium Funding

At Broadmayne First School we are passionate about giving our pupils the opportunity to succeed and excel across a wide range of physical activities. We recognise our responsibility to;
  1. promote the importance of a healthy lifestyle, 
  2. nurture our pupils to feel confident about their bodies, 
  3. develop enthusiasm for a life-long participation of physical activity,
  4. encourage the values of self-belief, team-work, courage, determination and equality that participation in sport demands.
Despite being a small school, our children excel in local sports competitions and festivals, and we are proud of our achievements in this area.
The Department for Education provides funding to schools to improve and develop their sport provision. An annual report is required from every school in receipt of the funding, evidencing how much funding has been received, and the impact of the expenditure.
