Thomas Hardye Year 10 Rugby Team Visit

We were very excited to be visited by the Natwest Under 15 Vase Final winning rugby team from Thomas Hardye School.

They told us all about the final they played at Twickenham, and the qualities needed to be a good rugby player - the most important being friendship, determination and commitment.

They shared with us some of the books they enjoyed when they were younger, and talked about how important it was for us all to be able to read and write well - the captain of the team had to write a speech after they won!

It was an inspiring visit which left many of the children keen to play sport, and to work hard in their other subjects in school!
