Remembrance

The children of Broadmayne have spent the week taking part in activities to help them understand the meaning and the importance of Remembrance Day.  Different classes designed and made poppies, and there were some beautiful paintings created and put on display in the hall.  On Friday 9th the whole school took part in a Remembrance assembly, and observed a two minute silence.  Year 3 also visited the war memorial in the village, where they left a poppy wreath they had designed and made themselves.
