Fairtrade cafe

Year 3 children ran a Fair-trade café for every child in the school. They all had a go at making flapjacks or banana loaf to sell at the café. Some children found mashing bananas quite hard. Most of the ingredients used were Fair-trade ingredients. The Year 3 children took turns to be a waiter or waitress during the week.  Every child had a drink, cookie or a flapjack or banana loaf and a piece of chocolate.

The money raised ...£30.50 will go to a chosen charity.
