WW11 Ambulance visits Y4

25th November 2016

Year 4 were very excited to receive a visit from some very special people today.
As part of their topic on WW11, 3 surprise visitors came to talk to them about their role in the war.
A German soldier, an American soldier and an American nurse dropped by in a WW11 ambulance to visit the children and let them have first hand knowledge of the equipment they used, the uniforms they wore and the things they used to do in their jobs.
A big thanks to Steve George from the D-Day Museum for arranging this - the children loved it!
